20 best wedding photographs of the year

Best wedding photographs of 2011 As the year ends, I always look forward to going back through the images I have taken with a fresh set of eyes. It was such a delight sifting through this season's wedding images. I spent a good deal of last week critiquing, remembering, applauding and ranking nearly one hundred thousand photographs. The next set of blog postings will feature the "best of" categories for 2011.

This posting highlights 20 of my favorite wedding photos we took this year at Selah. I narrowed down the best images fairly impulsively. In my original folder of my 200 plus top images I quickly marked the photographs that I could not live without. The wedding photographs are all in this selection for a variety of reasons, from originality, to emotional reaction to fine art photographs. The wedding images were taken all around the United States, from Rocky Mountains beyond.
